Central National Bank’s Craig Schwartinsky was recently selected as a recipient of the Texas Bankers Association’s Emerging Leader Award.
The award, which was created in 2021 by the Texas Bankers Foundation, honors bankers who have had a positive impact in the banking industry and who are expected to become leaders in their banks.
“When I first started at the bank back in 2008, I had a young family, and I really just needed a job,” said Schwartinsky. “A career in banking wasn’t something I was looking for. But after 13 years and with the professional and leadership development opportunities that CNB has provided, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this bank, and it’s been a humbling experience to be recognized in this way.”
Schwartinsky started with CNB in 2008 as a teller at the bank’s Bosque drive-thru. Two years later, he moved to the Highway 84 location to work in Item Processing. After a 3-year stint on the item processing team, he began working as an analyst in the credit department. In 2019, he was promoted to Vice President – Credit and Loan Operations Manager.
Schwartinsky and 8 other award recipients will be formally recognized at the TBA’s annual convention in Round Rock later this month.
Congratulations, Craig, on this well-deserved honor.
